Job summary

Qualifications

• Interest in education, museums, contemporary art, and/or culture.
• Motivated, reliable, responsible, and professionally oriented.
• Fluency in English with awareness and confidence in both verbal and non-verbal communication.
• Computer competency and efficiency with Google Apps.

Responsibilities

• Learn, model, and apply museum policies with visitors and staff inside galleries.
• Activate and deactivate exhibitions at public hours.
• Monitor accessibility, appearance, and cleanliness of galleries and public spaces.
• Enforce security and safeguarding policies for visitors, artworks, and spaces.
• Monitor for changes in artwork condition and environmental changes.
• Update knowledge of exhibitions, mission, events, and procedures.
• Initiate and lead interaction with diverse museum visitors and engage with new material.
• Participate in learning workshops and engage with strategies for engagement.
• Cooperate with peers and model engagement excellence.
• Implement accessibility and equity policies and reflect professionally.
