Rutgers University is seeking a Coordinator of Building Services (Security and Visitor Services Specialist) for the Jane Voorhees Zimmerli Art Museum. You will oversee safety, security of staff and visitors, and the gallery experience.

The role includes developing policies for reception and galleries, training student attendants, and coordinating with Campus Security. On-site work with weekend/evening coverage is required.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proficiency in speaking and writing English.

• Supports the museum by developing policies and protocols for reception desk and gallery attendants, including operating hours and special events.
• Collaborates with staff to develop visitor engagement strategies.
• Handles opening and closing of the museum during regular hours, including weekends and after-hours for events.
• Manages daily museum operations and interactions with campus and public.
• Supervises museum security.
• Hires, trains, and schedules student gallery attendants.
• Acts as liaison to Campus Security and develops training programs.
