Ocean City Life-Saving Station Museum in Ocean City, MD is seeking a Museum Aide to staff the newly restored Museum of Ocean City and the Ocean City Life-Saving Station Museum, providing interpretation to visitors and answering questions about local history.
You will operate the museum's point of sale for admissions and donations, maintain cleanliness, greet visitors, and assist during programs and events, while serving as an ambassador for tourism and coastal heritage.
Join our premier organization dedicated to the preservation, education, and research of coastal Worcester County! The Museum aide will staff the newly restored Museum of Ocean City, and the Ocean City Life Saving Station Museum. Museum aide will provide interpretation to visitors and answer questions regarding the history represented within the Museum. The museum aide is also responsible for maintaining the museum's cleanliness, which includes sweeping, removing trash, and dusting exhibits. The Museum aide will operate the museum's point of sale and accept admissions and donations from the public.
Applicants must be able to pass a post offer drug screening and background check.
