Job summary

The City of Bridgeport is seeking a Mail Courier for thePrint Shop to provide timely mail, courier, and delivery services across City Hall and other municipal buildings. You will transport completed jobs from the Print Shop and assist with mail processing tasks as needed.

The ideal candidate holds a High School diploma, has a year or more of courier experience, and can follow directions precisely. Pre-employment screening and a valid CT driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• High School graduate and/or equivalent
• One year courier experience preferred
• Must be able to understand and follow directions

Responsibilities

• Collects, transports, and delivers mail to City Hall and other City buildings
• Operates a motor vehicle for mail pickup/drop-off
• Picks up, loads, transports, and delivers mail, packages, and completed Print Shop jobs
• Assists with Print Shop and Mailing Department operations as assigned
• Performs other related duties as required
