Job summary

Via Elegante Assisted Living & Memory Care is seeking a dependable Maintenance Technician to maintain a safe, comfortable environment for residents and staff. You will handle work orders, repairs, and routine upkeep to ensure high standards of safety and cleanliness.

The role requires hands-on problem solving, strong customer service, and the ability to work independently with limited supervision. A valid AZ driver's license and reliable transportation are preferred.

Qualifications

• Hands-on maintenance experience and a customer-service mindset.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in building maintenance, facilities, or related field.
• Ability to read and follow safety rules, maintenance instructions, and procedures.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Teams, Windows, and internet-based applications.

Responsibilities

• Complete maintenance work orders accurately, efficiently, and professionally.
• Perform routine repairs including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, drywall, appliances, flooring, doors, and general building maintenance.
• Support basic HVAC maintenance, roof repairs, lighting repairs, and equipment upkeep.
• Prepare resident rooms for tours, move-ins, and move-outs.
• Assist with moving and setup of furniture, equipment, and resident belongings.
• Support landscaping, outdoor maintenance, cleaning, and overall community appearance.
• Conduct routine safety and facility inspections and address identified concerns.
