Job summary
The Clearwater Housing Development Corporation (CHDC) is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to help maintain the safety and appearance of our properties in Clearwater, FL. You will diagnose and repair a range of systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing and appliances, and assist with grounds maintenance.
We offer a full-time schedule Monday–Friday, with benefits, paid time off and opportunities for advancement.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- At least 1 year of hands-on trades experience.
- Proficient with Windows and MS Office.
- Valid Florida Driver’s License required.
- Pre-employment testing and background checks.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and improve properties to ensure safety and appearance.
- Complete repairs in vacant and occupied apartments and common areas.
- Diagnose and repair HVAC or refrigeration issues (no Freon), electrical, plumbing, elevators, carpentry, drywall, exteriors and appliances.
- Maintain property grounds by removing trash and plant debris.
