Job summary

Navy Region Southeast Fleet and Family Readiness (FFR) at NAS Pensacola is seeking a facilities maintenance worker to assist with multi-trade tasks across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and painting in Unaccompanied Housing. You may work independently or as part of a quick response maintenance team.

The role involves processing QR code service requests via email, scheduling work in the eMH system, and maintaining safety and resident privacy while delivering quality maintenance services.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of experience with demonstrated skill in at least two areas (e.g., Plumbing, Washer/Dryer repair, HVAC, Electrical, Carpentry, Painting).
• Knowledge of safety and environmental rules and regulations concerning procedures, tools, and equipment.
• Must possess basic math, reading, and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain security and privacy of all residents.
• Perform semi-skilled/unskilled tasks across trades for building maintenance.
• Review QR code service requests via email and service tasks in eMH; schedule work and report status.
• Troubleshoot and perform minor maintenance in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting and related areas.
• Support resident interactions and provide information about installation and local area.
