Job summary

Navy Region Southeast Fleet and Family Readiness (FFR) is seeking a Custodian to perform cleaning, housekeeping, and semi-skilled duties at the fitness facility. You will maintain floors, laundry, minor repairs, and inventory of cleaning supplies, and assist with event setup and delivery of supplies between facilities.

The role requires bending, standing, lifting up to 40 pounds, and ability to work with cleaning chemicals; background checks and valid driver's license may be required.

Qualifications

• Resumes must demonstrate KSAs related to custodial duties.
• Ability to read and follow simple instructions.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and move heavy items safely.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and MSDS is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Scrub, strip, wax, and polish floors using industrial scrubbers and buffers.
• Vacuum rugs with heavy-duty cleaners.
• Clean and maintain restrooms and sanitary fixtures.
• Move furniture and assist with event setup as needed.
