Job summary
Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Building Maintenance Technician to support operation, troubleshooting, diagnostics, housekeeping, and repairs for commercial properties. Responsibilities include equipment servicing, installation assistance, carpentry, painting, and safety compliance.
Ideal candidates have 2+ years of related experience and a valid driver's license. You will work with HVAC, plumbing, electrical and ground equipment, using basic software tools and mobile devices on site.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of related experience in a commercial property setting.
- Technical, vocational or on-the-job training in HVAC, electrical, mechanical, painting, plumbing, carpentry or engine repair.
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
- Basic computing skills in Outlook, Excel & Word.
Responsibilities
- Assist with troubleshooting and repairs of buildings and installed systems as listed.
- Clean, lubricate, and service pumps, valves, electrical and mechanical devices.
- Assist with installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
- Perform basic carpentry and painting tasks as needed.
- Troubleshoot operations and recommend savings opportunities.
- Respond to emergencies and service requests promptly.
