Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or better in General Business.
• Minimum one year experience as a Medical Assistant.
• Medical Assistant Certification or Diploma.
• EMR/EHR experience preferred.
• Ability to travel to other clinic sites as needed.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assists with day-to-day front and back office operations.
• Administers injections and aids with patient care procedures (EKGs, screenings).
• Obtains patient history and vital signs; supports audits and quality metrics.
• Maintains inventory and ensures equipment calibration and cleaning.
• Registers patients and updates demographics; verifies insurance and posts encounters.
• Performs end-of-day reconciliation and secures cash deposits.
• Prepares for next-day clinic by chart prep and pre-registration.
• Provides exceptional customer service to patients and staff; assists other departments.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
