Job summary

Orlando Health, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse (Advanced Care) for the Multisystem ICU at ORMC in Orlando, FL.

This full-time night-shift role requires expertise in critical care, rapid assessment, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-level, evidence-based nursing care. The ICU supports adult patients with injuries and complex illnesses, offering opportunities for professional growth, precepting, and involvement in performance improvement

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
• Florida RN license or valid eNLC multistate license.
• Current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification.
• ACLS, NRP, PALS, TNCC are required for certain areas.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care for adults with advanced illnesses or injuries in the Multisystem ICU.
• Monitors intracranial pressures, central venous pressures, pulmonary artery pressures, and cardiac rhythms.
• Develops and revises individualized care plans and evaluates progress toward outcomes.
• Collaborates with medical staff and interdisciplinary team to plan and manage patient care.
• Acts as a preceptor, charge nurse, educator, or clinician as needed.
• Documents patient care accurately and per regulatory standards; ensures safety and quality.
