The role requires 2+ years of payroll experience, proficiency with Ultipro and PeopleSoft, and attention to detail to maintain records, reconcile accounts, and support audits. This is a full-time position based in Georgia, collaborating with HR and finance teams across locations.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience processing payroll in a corporate environment.
• Proficiency with payroll systems and software (Ultipro, PeopleSoft).
• Strong knowledge of payroll tax regulations at federal and state levels (US).
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Process payroll accurately and on time using payroll software such as Ultipro and PeopleSoft.
• Calculate and withhold appropriate payroll taxes (federal, state, local) per regulations.
• Maintain and update payroll records (employee data, tax data, benefits deductions).
• Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve discrepancies with HR/finance.
• Prepare and submit payroll tax filings and reports to agencies on deadlines.
• Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll issues and taxes.
• Assist with internal and external payroll audits and provide documentation.
