TELACU Industries Inc. in Commerce, CA (90022) is seeking a Payroll & HRIS Specialist to oversee the full payroll cycle and HRIS operations in person. You will ensure timely, accurate compensation and data integrity within a multi-state environment.

Under the direction of the Senior Payroll & Benefits Manager, you will maintain HRIS data, generate reports, and support audits and regulatory compliance while collaborating with HR and finance to optimize processes and controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent 3+ years in payroll processing, timekeeping, or HRIS management.
• Strong proficiency with payroll/benefit software and HRIS platforms.
• Solid knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll and tax regulations.

Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day processing of complex payrolls and HRIS data to ensure accurate payroll processing and compliance.
• Maintain and update HRIS records including benefits enrollment and leave tracking.
• Prepare and maintain monthly accrual and payroll reports for audits, budgeting, and workforce planning.
• Monitor compliance with multi-state payroll and tax regulations; assist with HRIS administration and testing.
• Collaborate with HR, finance and management to streamline processes and support policy updates.
