Job summary

TELACU is seeking a Payroll & HRIS Specialist in Commerce, CA to manage full payroll cycles and HRIS administration in a hands-on, in-person role. You will ensure accurate pay, maintain confidential records, and support compliance with federal, state and local laws while coordinating with HR, finance and management.

The candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree or 3 years’ payroll/HRIS experience, strong Excel skills, ADP Workforce Now proficiency, and bilingual English/Spanish communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 3+ years of payroll processing and HRIS management.
• Strong proficiency with payroll software, HRIS data and compliance.
• Knowledge of federal, state and local payroll regulations.

Responsibilities

• Process complex payrolls, HRIS data, deductions, taxes and reconciliations.
• Maintain HRIS records, benefits enrollment and leave tracking.
• Produce reports for audits, budgeting and workforce planning.
• Ensure compliance with multi-state payroll and tax laws.
• Collaborate with HR, finance and management; support HRIS initiatives.
