Job summary

Galileo Health seeks a Medical Licensing Specialist to own the end-to-end state licensing process for our provider population across all 50 states. You’ll manage licensed profiles for RNs, NPs, MDs, and DOs, coordinating with state boards, providers, and internal teams to keep clinicians compliant and practice-ready.

This is a full-time, 40-hour/week contract position reporting to the Senior Manager, Licensing and Credentialing.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of healthcare licensing or credentialing experience
• Experience processing licenses for RNs, NPs, MDs, DOs
• Familiarity with multi-state licensing requirements and IMLC
• Strong organizational skills to manage high-volume applications
• Exceptional attention to detail and deadline discipline
• Experience with Verifiable or similar credentialing platforms

Responsibilities

• Own each license application from submission through approval across all 50 states
• Coordinate documentation: primary source verifications, CEU records, background checks
• Communicate with state boards to resolve issues and expedite approvals
• Maintain current licensure requirements and regulatory changes
• Use Verifiable to manage profiles and generate compliance reports
• Maintain license data accurately in the credentialing system
• Flag and escalate issues to prevent delays with a 60+ license queue
