Job summary

Delavan Holdings is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to own HR policy, compliance, and leave across six companies and 3,000+ team members in Wisconsin, Illinois, Iowa, and Minnesota. This is a compliance, policy, and project management role, onsite in Delavan, WI.

You will write and maintain handbooks, track state employment law changes, and administer FMLA and other leaves. HRIS experience with Paylocity is required, and a Bachelor's degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience with multi-state employment law (WI, IL, IA, MN) and adapting policies accordingly.
• Leave administration experience including workers' comp is required.
• Strong project management across multiple entities and timelines.
• HRIS experience with Paylocity is trainable.

Responsibilities

• Write, update, and maintain HR policies and employee handbooks across six companies.
• Track and implement multi-state employment law changes into policy and practice.
• Administer FMLA, state leaves, ADA accommodations, and return-to-work coordination.
• Manage workers' compensation, unemployment claims, wage and hour issues, EEOC charges.
• Own notices, postings, audits, reporting, and maintain leave data in Paylocity.
• Project-manage enterprise HR programs like performance appraisals, engagement surveys, and policy rollouts.
