Job summary

Wismettac Asian Foods, Inc. is seeking a Payroll Administrator to support US and Canada payroll processing, maintain employee records, and respond to inquiries.

You will develop expertise with Dayforce and ensure payroll compliance across multiple jurisdictions. The role involves processing biweekly payroll for 1,000+ employees across several states and provinces, reconciling timesheets, calculating wages and deductions, and handling year-end filings.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in payroll administration.
• Proficient in Dayforce and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Canadian payroll experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process biweekly payroll for 1,000+ employees across US states and Canadian provinces.
• Ensure payroll compliance with US and Canadian laws.
• Review, reconcile, and approve timesheets; resolve discrepancies.
• Calculate wages, overtime, bonuses, commissions, retro pay, and adjustments.
• Maintain accurate payroll/HR records and update employee data.
• Process end-to-end payroll transactions including direct deposits and deductions.
• Process 401(k) contributions and loan transactions; perform reconciliations.
• Respond to employee payroll inquiries and train managers on policies and Dayforce usage.
• Support Dayforce and WFM module functions; assist with year-end filings and audits.
