Job summary

FLSmidth is seeking a detail-loving Payroll Specialist to manage monthly US & Canada payroll, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness. You will be the go-to person for payroll questions and collaborate with internal teams and external providers to submit payroll data.

You will maintain payroll records for audits, support reporting and reconciliations, and monitor local laws to stay compliant. A minimum of 5 years of US & Canada payroll experience and proficiency with Workday, CloudPay and

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with US & Canada payroll
• Strong English communication, both written and spoken
• Ability to analyze data and detect inconsistencies
• Experience with high-volume payroll environments
• Experience with HRIS & payroll vendors such as Workday, CloudPay, ADP

Responsibilities

• Process monthly payroll for US & Canada payrolls, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Collaborate with internal teams and external providers to collect and submit payroll data
• Maintain accurate payroll records for audits and compliance
• Respond to employee payroll questions in a clear and professional manner
• Support payroll reporting and reconciliations, including variance analysis
• Monitor changes in local laws and coordinate with providers for compliance
• Adhere to KPIs and SLAs
• Suggest process improvements to simplify payroll workflows
