Job summary

National CORE is seeking a Maintenance Technician for Cathedral Palms Senior Apartments in Cathedral City, CA. The role reports to the Community Manager and Resident Services Supervisor, focusing on daily upkeep and preventive maintenance of the property.

Responsibilities include electrical and plumbing repairs, carpentry, painting, custodial duties, and assisting with inspections and unit turnover. Must have a California driver’s license and be able to comply with safety requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of hands-on maintenance or related field experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions and established protocols.

Responsibilities

• Participate in maintenance projects and training as directed.
• Perform minor electrical repairs on appliances, fixtures, switches and outlets.
• Perform minor plumbing work such as clearing drains and replacing fittings.
• Replace broken tiles, screens, fixtures, appliances, blinds, and locks.
• Paint interior and exterior surfaces as directed.
• Assist in carpentry tasks and installing doors or shelves.
• Assist in custodial and grounds work as needed.
• Maintain safe, clean storage and maintenance areas and report issues.
