Job summary

Duke Energy seeks an RRE O&M I/E Tech I, II, III to operate and maintain equipment at the Roxboro, NC facility. This multiskilled role requires qualification in IC&E with two secondary skillsets (Operations and Mechanical) and adherence to safety standards.

Responsibilities include start-up/shutdown, monitoring, and calibration of plant systems, with duties spanning troubleshooting and routine maintenance. Onsite work and potential travel ensure reliable power generation and safe operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license and ability to work onsite at Roxboro plant.
• Mechanical, electrical or I&C experience required.
• Must complete safety training and pass respiratory fitness.

Responsibilities

• Start-up, shutdown, normal operations, monitoring, servicing, and maintenance of coal plant equipment.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and calibrate equipment to ensure reliable operation.
• Follow approved procedures and safety rules, including emergency protocols.
