Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent (GED) required for Tech I/II.
• For Tech II, one of: RO/SRO license, Naval experience meeting Instant SRO program entry, or a four-year engineering/engineering tech degree.

Responsibilities

• Serve as an active member of station Fire Brigade.
• Report system and component status using computerized round process.
• Start and stop plant equipment per operating procedures.
• Test and check operability of system components (e.g., leakage).
• Isolate and restore equipment as needed.
• Outdoor surveillance year-round on day and night shifts.
• Complete ongoing training to maintain proficiency in the job hierarchy.
