Job summary

Duke Energy is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to perform maintenance and repair of non-power block systems and site facilities, ensuring safe, reliable operation.

Work includes HVAC, electrical, plumbing, water/sewer, fire protection, data center support, doors and related equipment, with required high school/GED and industry licenses.

Onsite role with safety‑driven, team‑oriented work; Nuclear plant experience is a plus and CDL may be required.

Qualifications

• F&E Maint Tech I or II with High School/GED; related experience required.
• HVAC units inside/outside Protected Area (PA) expertise.
• Electrical repairs for site facilities.
• Plumbing repairs/upgrades in kitchens, labs, restrooms, offices.
• Sewer systems including ejectors and lift stations.
• Data Center equipment and electrical distribution maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain non-power block systems structures and components.
• Repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
• Support data center, labs, and site equipment PMs.
• Operate lifting/rigging equipment and test/inspect hoists.
• Perform door, floor, ceiling, and general building repairs.
