The City of New Ulm is seeking a full-time Facilities Maintenance Technician to keep city buildings safe, clean, and well-functioning. You’ll perform upkeep, preventative maintenance, inspections, and minor repairs, working with contractors as needed and keeping detailed records.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent, 2–5 years of facility maintenance experience, and basic computer skills. The role offers a competitive benefits package and is based in New Ulm, MN.

• Experience with HVAC, plumbing, electrical and carpentry systems.

Responsabilités

• Perform general upkeep, preventative maintenance and minor repairs on assigned buildings.
• Conduct inspections, groundskeeping, and basic plumbing, electrical and carpentry tasks.
• Maintain maintenance records and coordinate projects with outside contractors.
• Respond to occasional after-hours facility needs.
