Job summary

Flagship Communities REIT is seeking a Maintenance Technician for a manufactured home community. The role includes painting, home remodeling, plumbing and electrical tasks, and landscaping, with the ability to work autonomously and adhere to safety guidelines.

Ideal candidate will have property/building maintenance experience, valid driver's license, and the ability to maintain HVAC, plumbing and alarm systems while ensuring resident satisfaction through reliable service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CMRP certification preferred.
• Experience in building or property maintenance is a plus.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setting up ventilation, refrigeration and other systems and conduct repairs when necessary.
• Maintain heating and plumbing systems to ensure functionality.
• Inspect alarm systems and schedule repairs when needed.
• Perform manual repairs such as fixing locks or replacing windows.
• Undertake pest control activities such as spraying insecticide.
• Conduct general upkeep procedures and other tasks as assigned.
• Keep grounds and landscaping in tip-top shape.
• Assist in budget preparation and ensure it is followed.
• Mow, weed eat and hedge trim and perform preventative maintenance on equipment.
