Job summary

Flagship Communities is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our Manufactured Home Community. You will perform painting, remodeling, plumbing, electrical work and landscaping, among other duties, working autonomously while following health and safety guidelines.

The ideal candidate has property or building maintenance experience, a strong work ethic, and the ability to manage multiple tasks. Weekly pay and a team-oriented environment support our residents' standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior building/maintenance experience preferred.
• Physically capable of manual labor.
• CMRP certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the setup of ventilation, refrigeration and other systems and conduct repairs when necessary.
• Maintain heating and plumbing systems to ensure functionality; inspect alarms and schedule repairs when needed.
• Perform manual repairs when necessary (locks, windows, etc.).
• Undertake pest control activities such as spraying insecticide.
• Conduct general upkeep procedures and other tasks as assigned.
• Keep grounds and landscaping in tip-top shape.
• Assist in budget preparation and ensure it is followed.
• Mow, weed eat and hedge trim; perform preventative maintenance and repairs of equipment.
