Job summary

Flagship Communities REIT seeks a Maintenance Technician Tradesman for our manufactured home community. The role covers painting, remodeling, plumbing, electrical work and landscaping, with travel regionally and autonomous work while observing safety guidelines.

Ideal candidates have 4–7 years in housing maintenance with tools, strong carpentry, and a proactive work ethic. Travel and driving are required, with responsibilities reporting to the Community Manager.

Qualifications

• 4 to 7 years experience in housing maintenance with tools.
• Carpentry is a must.
• Physically capable of manual labor including lifting, bending and reaching.
• Positive attitude, teamwork, and strong work ethic.
• Self-supervisory skills and commitment to high standards.
• Basic understanding of plumbing and other systems.
• Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods.
• Working knowledge of tools, appliances and devices.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setting up ventilation, refrigeration and other systems and perform repairs as needed.
• Maintain heating and plumbing systems to ensure functionality.
• Inspect alarm systems and schedule repairs as needed.
• Perform manual repairs (locks, windows, etc.).
• Undertake pest control tasks such as spraying insecticide.
• General upkeep and other duties as assigned.
• Keep grounds and landscaping in top condition.
• Assist in budget preparation and ensure adherence to it.
• Mow, weed eat and hedge trim; maintain equipment.
