Job summary

Flagship Communities is seeking a diligent Maintenance Technician for a Manufactured Home Community. Responsibilities include painting, remodeling, plumbing, electrical work, and landscaping, with the ability to work autonomously while upholding safety guidelines and high standards for residents.

The role requires a strong work ethic, reliable transportation, and a High School diploma or equivalent. CMRP is a plus, and candidates should be prepared for hands-on maintenance tasks in a community

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in building maintenance preferred.
• CMRP certification desired.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
• Must be physically capable of manual labor.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the setup of ventilation, refrigeration and other systems and conduct repairs when necessary.
• Maintain heating and plumbing systems to ensure functionality; inspect alarm systems and schedule repairs when needed.
• Perform manual repairs when necessary (locks, windows, etc.).
• Undertake pest control activities such as spraying insecticide.
• Conduct general upkeep procedures and other tasks as assigned.
• Keep grounds and landscaping in tip-top shape.
• Assist in budget preparation and ensure it is followed.
• Mow, weed eat and hedge trim; perform preventative maintenance and repairs of equipment.
