Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years' experience in a related maintenance field preferred; technical or trade school encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Paint, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, preventive maintenance, HVAC and inspections of the facility.
• Clean kitchen grease traps and dispose of infectious/contaminated waste per policy.
• Complete preventive maintenance, inspections, and required filter changes on schedule.
• Dismantle and examine parts to solve equipment problems and replace defective parts.
• Repair and maintain machinery using hand and power tools and testing equipment.
• Keep tools and materials in good condition and properly stored.
• Report health and safety concerns affecting patients, staff or visitors; monitor inventories.
• Assist in emergencies and support quality/performance goals.
• Participate in on-call rotation; drive facility vehicle when needed.
