Job summary

Universal Health Services is seeking a Driver / Plant Operations Technician to coordinate internal and external transportation, perform facility maintenance, and support hospital operations. Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; two years' related maintenance experience preferred.
Must have a clean driving record and pass a driving test, including a road test.
Experience with hand/power tools and basic computer devices (copiers, fax machines).
Ability to repair and replace parts using diagrams and manuals; willingness to perform multiple maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

Organize daily driving needs and scheduling of internal/external transportation.
Perform maintenance tasks including painting, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and preventive maintenance.
Participate in on-call rotation and respond to emergencies.
Maintain electrical equipment and perform scheduled inspections/tests.
Dismantle and repair parts; use hand/power tools and testing equipment.
Keep tools and materials organized; monitor supply inventory and inform supervisor of low stock.
Assist in safety and quality improvement initiatives; conduct emergency drills.
