Universal Health Services, Inc. is seeking a Driver / Plant Operations Technician to coordinate internal and external transportation and perform a wide range of maintenance tasks within the hospital.

The role requires a high school diploma and at least two years in a related field, plus a clean driving record and tool-handling skills. You will be part of on-call rotations and help sustain reliable facility operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years' experience in a related maintenance field preferred.
• Clean driving record and ability to pass a driving test including road test.
• Experience with hand and power tools and basic equipment safety.

Responsibilities

• Organize daily driving needs for internal and external transportation.
• Perform maintenance tasks including painting, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC and inspections.
• Be part of the departmental on-call rotation.
• Maintain electrical equipment in good working condition.
• Perform preventive maintenance per schedule.
• Repair/replace defective parts using hand/power tools and testing equipment.
• Operate hospital vehicle to transport tools, parts, supplies, or personnel as needed.
• Assist in emergencies and support facility-wide quality/performance improvement goals.
