Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; two years' experience in a related maintenance field preferred.
• Technical or trade school training is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform painting, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, preventive maintenance, HVAC, and inspections of the facility.
• Clean kitchen grease traps and dispose of infectious waste according to policy.
• Complete preventive maintenance, inspections, and required filter changes on schedule.
• Dismantles and examines parts to solve equipment problems, repairs or replaces defective parts.
• Repair and maintain machinery using hand tools, power tools and testing equipment.
• Keep tools and materials in good condition and properly stored.
• Report issues affecting patients, staff or visitors; monitor inventories and notify supervisor.
• Assist in emergencies as needed.
• Support facility-wide quality/performance improvement goals.
• Conduct emergency drills.
• Participate in on-call rotation with other Technicians.
• Drive a facility vehicle to transport tools, parts, supplies, or personnel.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
