Job summary

United Health Services (UHS) is seeking a Maintenance Technician 2 to perform preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing equipment. Responsibilities include groundskeeping and timely repair work to ensure safe, efficient facility operations.

The role requires hands-on skills, a valid driver’s license, and 2–4 years of maintenance experience; a trade-school credential is preferred. Evening rotational shifts and competitive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 2–4 years in operational maintenance/engineering or Tech 1 equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and plumbing equipment.
• Conduct routine grounds maintenance (mowing, trimming, litter pickup, sidewalk cleaning).
• Troubleshoot and repair electronic equipment and wiring as needed.
