SHP Management Corporation is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support facilities across the property. The role requires hands‑on work in plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry and grounds maintenance, with a focus on timely work orders and building upkeep.

You will coordinate with the Superintendent/Property Manager for inspections, respond to emergencies, and ensure safety and cleanliness across all common areas and grounds.

Qualifications

• 3 years experience in all facets of property maintenance.
• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Knowledge in plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, appliance repair, grounds maintenance, roofing, flooring, etc. or the ability to learn this skill.
• Ability to communicate both orally and in writing with a wide range of people.
• Ability to accept responsibility and account for actions; dependable and trustworthy.
• Ability to organize time and complete work within deadlines.
• On‑call rotation eligibility.
• Use of proper safety equipment; gloves, goggles, back belts and proper footwear.

Responsabilités

• Complete work orders in a timely basis.
• Prepare apartment turnovers within established guidelines.
• Clean community buildings, laundry rooms, office building, maintenance shop and grounds and keep areas clean and sanitary.
• Daily collection of debris on the property.
• Clean parking lots and dumpster areas.
• Coordinate with Superintendent and/or Property Manager for unit inspections and follow-up with work orders to repair deficiencies.
• Be available for emergency duty (snow removal, fire, etc.).
• Complete incident reports within 24 hours of occurrence.
