StorQuest Self Storage in Murrieta, CA invites you to join as Assistant Store Manager. You’ll be the first-line contact in the Store Manager’s absence, supporting revenue, delinquency, occupancy, cleanliness, and top-notch guest service across multiple sites.

This part-time role involves managing rentals, taking payments, selling merchandise and insurance, and guiding customers. You’ll work weekends, potentially across 4–6 locations, with bonus potential and a collaborative team culture.

Qualifications

• Preferred 1+ years in Customer Service/Sales experience.
• Tech Savvy is a plus.
• Experience in Cash Handling required.
• Must be available on weekends.
• A huge passion for guest service and sales.
• Ability to work in a collaborative and positive team environment.
• No spare customers mindset; every guest matters.
• Positive, outgoing personality; eager to learn.
• Strong accountability and work ethic; teamwork.
• Experience in retail or service industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage rental process across stores: conversions, payments, merchandise, and insurance.
• Assist customers with truck rentals at locations where available.
• Participate in collecting past-due accounts and guide customers on their journey.
• Inspect stores daily, maintain cleanliness, and handle routine maintenance.
• Accurately cash handling, posting payments, and deposits; balance receipts.
