Job summary

Pathmark Transportation is seeking a Safety & Risk Manager to own workplace safety, regulatory compliance, and risk management across our warehouse and transportation operations. This role ensures OSHA-compliance, manages the insurance program, and leads workers' compensation and incident investigations.

The candidate will develop safety programs, perform site inspections, and partner with leadership to lower risk while maintaining compliance standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in occupational safety and health, risk management, industrial engineering, or related field — or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience with commercial insurance lines (GL, auto, property, cargo, umbrella) and renewal processes.
• 5+ years of safety experience in warehousing, distribution, logistics, or manufacturing, including at least 2 years in a management or program-owner role.
• OSHA 30-Hour General Industry card (or ability to obtain within 90 days).
• Ability to travel to company sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Owns the insurance and risk management program across our warehouses and transportation operations.
• Lead workers' compensation program from injury reporting through claim closure and manage return-to-work.
• Conduct root-cause investigations for injuries and near misses and track corrective actions.
• Develop, implement, and maintain the company safety program across all sites and operations.
• Coordinate OSHA inspections, recordkeeping, and regulatory compliance across multiple facilities.
