Job summary

Airlite Plastics Co. is seeking a Safety Manager to lead enterprise safety programs across multiple sites. You will translate strategic safety goals into site actions, coordinate policy rollouts, and drive incident investigations and training.

The role partners with plant leaders to reduce risk and foster a zero-harm culture. Candidates should have 5+ years in multi-site safety management, strong knowledge of OSHA/DOT/EPA standards, and travel across North America.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health, Industrial Hygiene, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive safety management experience across multi-site manufacturing.
• Knowledge of OSHA, DOT, and EPA standards; ISO and SQF familiarity a plus.
• Willingness to travel across North American locations.
• CSP or equivalent certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day administration of enterprise safety programs across locations.
• Translate safety strategy into site action plans, tools and routines.
• Track progress against safety goals; escalate gaps to the Director, Safety.
• Coordinate rollout of new/updated safety programs, policies and procedures.
• Lead safety committees to drive priority initiatives.
• Support compliance with federal/state/local safety regulations.
• Conduct risk assessments and job safety analyses; ensure follow-up.
• Support incident investigations and root-cause analysis.
• Deliver safety training and share lessons learned across sites.
