Job summary

Airlite Plastics in Omaha, NE is seeking a Safety Manager to drive enterprise safety programs across multiple sites. You’ll translate strategy into on‑the‑ground action, lead safety committees, and advance a culture of zero harm.

Requires a Bachelor's in a safety field and 5+ years in safety management, with OSHA/DOT/EPA knowledge and willingness to travel across North America. CSP or ISO/SQF familiarity is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health, Industrial Hygiene, or related field preferred.
• 5+ years progressive safety management experience, preferably multi-site manufacturing.
• Working knowledge of OSHA, DOT, EPA standards; ISO/SQF familiarity a plus.
• Willingness to travel across North American locations.
• Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or equivalent a plus.
• Strong safety program execution and regulatory compliance mindset.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day administration of enterprise safety programs across locations.
• Translate safety strategy into site-level actions, tools and routines.
• Monitor safety goals and KPIs; escalate gaps and risks to Director, Safety.
• Coordinate rollout of new or updated safety programs and procedures.
• Lead safety committees and drive prioritization and execution.
• Deliver safety training and coach site leaders on best practices.
• Lead or support incident investigations with root-cause analysis.
• Prepare reporting on safety performance for leadership.
