Job summary

Firstsource seeks an Onsite Project Manager to lead day-to-day operations for a multimodal data collection research project within the San Francisco Bay Area. You will coordinate instructors, facilities, onsite staff, schedules, and multiple locations while keeping the remote Operations Manager informed.

In this hands-on leadership role you own project execution, solve problems in real time, and ensure the project stays ready, safe, and on track across indoor and outdoor sites.

Qualifications

• 3+ years managing complex onsite projects across research studies, events, or field operations.
• Proactive, independent worker with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders, schedules and locations.
• Excellent communication and leadership of onsite staff and partners.
• Willingness to travel across Bay Area locations.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day project execution across multiple Bay Area locations.
• Coordinate instructors, facility partners, participants, onsite staff, equipment, and schedules.
• Assess locations for access, safety, permits, staffing, and scheduling; ensure readiness.
• Lead onsite team members and align workstreams across partners and locations.
• Identify risks early and solve operational issues in real time.
• Monitor live sessions, address issues, and document lessons learned.
• Maintain trackers, action items, risk logs, and status updates for the remote team.
• Support project planning, mobilization, launch readiness, and potential scale-up.
