Job summary

Qualifications

• Hands-on general service maintenance experience required.
• Troubleshoot/repair plumbing, electrical, appliances and HVAC; interior repairs and painting preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license, good driving record, auto insurance, reliable transportation if driving is required.
• Computer literacy and clear written/spoken English for work.
• Ability to work weekends and respond to emergencies after hours.
• Smartphone use required; after-hours contact sometimes needed.
• Physical activity up to 50 lbs, with standing, walking, lifting and carrying.

Responsibilities

• Prepares all market-ready apartments.
• Responds to resident service requests and concerns in a timely manner.
• Performs various maintenance functions.
• Maintains grounds and common areas free of trash and debris.
• Represents the Company in a professional manner at all times.
• Performs scheduled maintenance program.
• Attends training programs as required.
• Reports maintenance concerns for repairs to the Service Manager.
