Job summary

Vivmark Residential seeks a Multisite Maintenance Technician to support maintenance at two Equity Residential communities. You will handle resident requests, prepare market-ready apartments, and maintain grounds, delivering clean, safe, and well-maintained living spaces.

The role requires hands-on maintenance, troubleshooting plumbing/electrical, and on-call emergency coverage. A high school diploma, a valid driver's license, and English communication skills are required.

Qualifications

• Hands-on general service maintenance experience required.
• Able to troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, appliances, HVAC equipment (if applicable), and perform interior repairs and painting.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license, good driving record, auto insurance, and reliable transportation if operating a vehicle.
• Computer literacy and ability to communicate effectively in English for work.
• Willing to work weekends and respond to emergencies after hours.
• Smartphone required for certain job aspects and must be secure.
• Physical ability for extensive standing, lifting up to 50 lbs, and moving materials.

Responsibilities

• Prepares all market-ready apartments.
• Responds to resident service requests and concerns promptly.
• Performs various maintenance functions.
• Maintains grounds and common areas, keeping them free of trash and debris.
• Provides on-call emergency service as required.
• Performs special maintenance projects as assigned.
• Reports maintenance concerns to the Service Manager.
• Participates in the scheduled maintenance program.
• Follows federal/state housing laws and internal policies.
• Attends training and represents the Company professionally.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
