Job summary

Avenue5 Residential is seeking a Floating Maintenance Technician to service apartment communities in the Phoenix area. You will perform electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, and general maintenance tasks while upholding high standards of resident service and curb appeal.

Minimum requirements include a high school diploma, at least one year of property management experience or related field, basic maintenance and carpentry skills, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• At least one year of experience in the property management industry or related field.
• Possess general maintenance and general carpentry skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance functions including electrical, plumbing, appliances, flooring, carpentry, HVAC and grounds maintenance as directed.
• Perform carpentry duties such as wallboard repair, countertop/cabinet replacement, finish carpentry, window/glass repair, door/lock repair and tile repair.
• Maintain work orders and ensure timely completion to satisfaction of residents.
• Inspect property grounds and common areas for safety and cleanliness.
• Assist with property emergencies and on-call maintenance as needed.
