Job summary

Equity Residential seeks a Multisite Maintenance Technician to support maintenance across two or more apartment communities. You’ll respond to resident requests, prepare market-ready units, and perform make-ready and common-area tasks while upholding the company’s service standards.

You’ll work under the General Service Director or Service Manager, carry on-call emergency duties, and contribute to safety, quality, and resident satisfaction with professional conduct and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Hands-on maintenance experience required across residential settings.
• Ability to troubleshoot plumbing and electrical systems and perform interior repairs.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation may be needed.
• Strong English communication for work-related purposes.

Responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests and complete make-ready work.
• Perform maintenance tasks in units and common areas.
• Maintain grounds and keep areas free of trash and debris.
• Work with on-call emergencies and special maintenance projects.
• Report maintenance concerns to the Service Manager and follow policies.
