Job summary

Avanath Capital is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee resident-focused maintenance, staff leadership, and vendor coordination across multifamily communities. The role emphasizes timely service, curb appeal, and professional interaction with residents and staff.

You will manage work orders, safety protocols, and preventive maintenance while supporting budget guidelines and on-call emergencies. A strong customer-service mindset and reliable supervision are essential.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of multifamily property maintenance experience.
• One year of supervisory experience required.
• Expertise in plumbing, HVAC, appliance repair, electrical, and carpentry work is required.
• HVAC and CPO certifications are highly desired.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Very strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Solid interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Must be available for on-call and weekend work.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates customer service skills by treating residents and others with respect and urgency in work orders.
• Plan, coordinate, and supervise maintenance staff and vendors to ensure quality repairs and preventive maintenance.
• Inspects grounds and facilities daily to identify hazards and enforce safety standards.
• Manage inventory, budgets, and cost-control programs; order parts when possible.
• Maintain records of service requests, inspections, and compliance with OSHA and EPA guidelines.
• Respond to on-call emergencies and coordinate with Community Manager.
