Job summary

Avanath is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee maintenance operations across our communities, delivering on commitments to residents and partnering with the Community Manager. You will supervise staff and vendors to ensure timely service, move-in readiness, and strong curb appeal while maintaining safety standards.

The role emphasizes resident relations, cost-conscious maintenance, and proactive planning to provide an exceptional living environment.

Qualifications

At least 3 years of multifamily property maintenance experience.
One year of supervisory experience required.
Expertise in plumbing, HVAC, appliance repair, electrical, and carpentry work is required.
HVAC and CPO certifications are highly desired.
Valid Driver's License.
Very strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple priorities.
Solid interpersonal and customer service skills.
Must be available for on-call and weekend work.

Responsibilities

Resident relations and customer service: treat residents with respect, respond to questions and complaints, and assign work orders with urgency.
Maintenance management: coordinate, schedule, and respond to work orders; inspect grounds and buildings daily.
Manage supplies and inventory within budget; maintain preventative maintenance programs.
Ensure safety and OSHA compliance; maintain records of service requests and inspections.
Assist with on-call emergencies and ensure proper key control and documentation.
