Job summary

Avanath is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to deliver on commitments to residents, oversee staff and vendors, and ensure quality move-ins, timely service, curb appeal, and attentive resident care.

The incumbent will work with the Community Manager to supervise maintenance staff, manage safety, and maintain the property while driving excellent customer service for residents and employees.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of multifamily property maintenance experience.
• One year of supervisory experience required.
• Expertise in plumbing, HVAC, appliance repair, electrical, and carpentry work.
• HVAC and CPO certifications are highly desired.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Very strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Must be available for on-call and weekend work.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates resident relations and customer service by handling maintenance requests with urgency.
• Coordinate and supervise maintenance staff and vendors to ensure quality and timely service.
• Maintain safety standards and ensure compliance with OSHA guidelines.
• Plan and manage preventive maintenance and inventory within budget guidelines.
• Monitor work progress and provide guidance to staff and residents as needed.
• Keep accurate records of service requests, inspections, and make‑ready status.
