Job summary

Skin and Aesthetics Center seeks a Medical Receptionist to be the first point of contact across our practice locations. You will manage patient interactions, scheduling, and administrative duties while upholding the highest standards of customer service and confidentiality.

The ideal candidate is professional, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking in a busy healthcare environment. Travel between Toms River, Jackson and Whiting locations is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous medical office or customer service experience preferred.
• Proficiency with computer systems and multi-line phone systems.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors professionally and warmth.
• Schedule appointments across multiple providers and locations efficiently.
• Verify insurance eligibility and collect patient demographic information.
• Process patient check-ins and check-outs, including payment collection.
• Answer multi-line phones, direct calls, and take detailed messages.
• Coordinate referrals and prior authorizations with insurance companies.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance at all times.
• Travel between assigned practice locations to provide coverage as needed.
• Support office operations including filing, data entry, and inventory management.
