Crossroads Church is seeking an Assistant Multisite Connections Director to partner with the Connections Site Director in leading volunteers, building teams, and implementing systems that make Crossroads at their site the easiest place to belong. This role creates warm and welcoming environments and builds bridges from weekend experiences into deeper community and personal life change.

Responsibilities include sustaining a strong volunteer community, recruiting leaders, and developing teams

Qualifications

• Recruit, develop and multiply high-capacity volunteer leaders.
• Build authentic relationships and networks.
• Excellent oral and written communication.
• Organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Experience leading large teams and events preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sustain and grow a strong volunteer community.
• Support execution, planning and preparation.
• Assist the Connections Site Director on cross-site projects.
• Help people get connected and pursue seven practices.
• Oversee teams creating first impressions and welcoming environments.
• Recruit volunteers and invite people to serve.
• Develop volunteer leaders through regular training.
• Maintain volunteer rosters and monitor activity.
• Stay engaged in weekend environments and coach volunteers.
• Prepare spiritually and practically for each weekend.
