Boston College seeks an Assistant Carpentry Supervisor to lead day-to-day Carpentry, Paint, and Lock Shop operations across 4–5 campus locations. The role emphasizes leadership, scheduling, and effective communication with campus administration and union staff.

You will supervise 4–5 campus teams, manage work orders, control overtime, and ensure safety and functional buildings for students, faculty, and staff. A strong carpentry background plus tech-savvy project management is essential.

Formación

• Minimum of 5 years supervisory experience in construction, facilities maintenance, or portfolio management.
• Associate or Bachelor’s Degree preferred, or active state licensure / trade certifications.
• Proficient with digital tools including Microsoft Office, Google Workspace and Smartsheet.
• Valid Driver’s License required.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and supervise union staff across 4–5 campus locations.
• Prioritize and track daily work orders for Carpentry, Paint, and Lock Shops.
• Coordinate with campus administration and stakeholders.
• Manage budgets and overtime to control costs.
