Job summary

Skilled Trades Partners is seeking an experienced Carpentry Foreman to lead and mentor a 3-4 person crew on projects across the 495 belt, from the Boston area to Southern New Hampshire. This is a temp-to-perm role with roughly 90 days of training to help transition into a Foreman position.

The ideal candidate will read plans, supervise daily work, ensure safety and quality, and coordinate with management and other trades. Hands-on leadership is required.

Qualifications

• Proven carpentry experience required.
• Prior Foreman or leadership potential in Journeyman Carpenter.
• Willingness to travel between Boston-area and Southern NH sites.
• Must be willing to work hands-on - this is a working Foreman position.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate a 3-4 person carpentry crew.
• Direct day-to-day work and keep projects moving.
• Read and interpret plans, drawings, and specifications.
• Perform hands-on carpentry work alongside your crew.
• Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to quality standards.
• Coordinate materials, tools, and daily manpower needs.
• Communicate with project management and other trades.
• Train and mentor less-experienced carpenters.
• Help maintain a clean and organized job site.
• Travel between project locations throughout the 495 belt.
