Job summary

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of supervisory experience in facilities or construction, with a relevant degree or licensure. Proficiency in Office tools and Smartsheet is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience in construction, facilities maintenance, or managing a large, complex building portfolio.
• Associate or Bachelor’s Degree preferred, or active State Licensure / Construction Trade Certifications.
• Proficiency with digital tools including Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and Smartsheet; experience with electronic work order systems and digital timekeeping is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound operational decisions independently.
• Must hold and maintain a valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Operational leadership & supervision across 4–5 campus locations; inspect work to ensure top-quality standards.
• Prioritize, assign, and track daily work orders for Carpentry, Paint, and Lock Shops using modern tools.
• Communicate effectively with school administration, department heads, and business partners.
• Manage shop budgets with emphasis on overtime control and material planning.
• Balance multiple ongoing orders and routines while meeting deadlines.
• Serve as essential personnel for campus emergencies to maintain safety and security.
